Who Attends ICSD?
You do not need to be a member of the Global Association of Master’s in Development Program (GAMDP) or the Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN) to participate. Participants (both presenters and observers) from academia (faculty, scholars, researchers, and students), practitioners, NGOs, government agencies, international organizations, and private companies are welcome to attend. Participants will find a diversity of stakeholders and perspectives in the presentations and discussions.
We apologize that we are unable to offer any financial assistance to participants, only the following variable fee structure.
- Participant from OECD* Countries — $310
- Participant from Non-OECD* Countries — $260
- MDP Faculty & Alumni Participant — $160
- Full-time Students — Free**
** Full-time students receive free admission to the conference with advanced registration (Valid student ID must be presented at conference registration or payment will be required).
Will you need a visa to enter the U.S.? To receive a formal invitation addressed to the U.S. Consulate, please register online and then follow the directions on your confirmation email.
All cancellations should be made in writing to firstname.lastname@example.org with exact payment information (i.e. confirmation email received upon purchase). If notification is received on or before August 31, 2019, a refund of 100% will be made. There will be no refunds for any cancellations made after August 31, 2019, unless the cancellation is because a US embassy or consulate has denied a visa application. You will be required to provide proof of this denial in the form of a letter or email from the embassy or consulate, or a image of the online portal that shows your status as declined. No refunds will be issued after October 4, 2019.
Collection of your Personal Information
The International Conference on Sustainable Development (ICSD) website collects personally identifiable information, such as your e-mail address, name, home or work address, and telephone number. ICSD is not responsible for privacy statements or other content on Web sites outside of the conference website and its family of Web sites.
Use of your Personal Information
The ICSD collects and uses your personal information to operate the Web site and deliver the services you have requested. ICSD also uses your personally identifiable information to inform you of any updates regarding the conference.
ICSD does not sell, rent, or lease its customer lists to third parties. ICSD may share data with trusted partners to send you email or postal mail, and provide customer support with registration. All such third parties are prohibited from using your personal information except to provide these services to ICSD and they are required to maintain the confidentiality of your information
Security of your Personal Information
ICSD secures your personal information from unauthorized access, use or disclosure. ICSD secures the personally identifiable information you provide on computer servers in a controlled, secure environment, protected from unauthorized access, use or disclosure.
By attending ICSD at Columbia, I hereby grant the following rights and permissions to official conference staff to video, photograph, or otherwise record my likeness in whole or in part. I consent to the participation in interviews, the use of quotes, and the taking of photographs, movies or video tapes, audio, and all forms of digital recording. I also grant to the right to edit, use, and reuse said products for use in print, on the internet, and all other forms of media. I also hereby release the Columbia University, the Global Association of Master’s in Development Practice programs, and the Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN) and its agents and employees from all claims, demands, and liabilities whatsoever in connection with the above.
