Consilience: The Journal of Sustainable Development is an online, open-access, solutions-oriented platform based at Columbia University dedicated to advancing dialogue on sustainable development. Its global scope allows us to provide an interdisciplinary space to identify and develop innovative solutions to the quandaries facing us today and those that will emerge in the future.
Consilience has partnered with the International Conference on Sustainable Development (ICSD) to receive select papers from the conference. Papers that are chosen by the ICSD Scientific Committee to present as oral presentations will be automatically submitted to Consilience with the authors permission for the 24th edition of the journal. We are excited to provide this opportunity to our presenters.
Consilience accepts original research articles up to 5,000 words in length covering a wide range of issues within sustainable development. All articles should be academically rigorous, yet accessible to a general population interested in the field of sustainable development. Authors should consider an interdisciplinary and solutions-oriented approach, and through their work should aim to promote further research and discussion about their chosen topic.
Authors should be mindful that papers selected for publication undergo an involved review and editing process. Authors should set aside time to revise their work. Please visit www.consiliencejournal.org for additional submission information and past issues.
